What We Believe In

Founded in 2015 by Joahna Tupas, School in a Backpack champions a unique educational perspective for parents and educators by upholding holistic child-rearing, loving and intentional parenting, and experiential education. It’s an ever-evolving, innovative educational experience that grows with the parent and child, instilling in them a life-long love for learning. This is the journey of a family, illustrated by the thought that all the tools you need to become a parent who teaches learning can be put in a backpack.
